I have an important question. Has anyone tried using sigil of blood on a gs? After stacking 25 mights, i change my weapon to one with a sigil of blood, but i have never once seen it work? My crit chance base is 65%

it probably shares a cooldown, so youll have to have use the sigil of blood weapon for up to 10 secs of combat before it can work.

i did not perform any weapon swap, just straightly on the gs. It should start trying to proc when i start hitting criticals. Only when it procs does the cooldown kicks in. Where did you get the info that I have to be in battle for 10 secs before it works?

you stated that you change weapon, regardless of how you did it, cooldown still occurs.
the cooldown could be up to 10 secs, but may well be less.

i use sigil of blood on my main hand axe with sigil of geo on the off hand to get bleed on swap to dual-axes and i also have sigil of blood on my rifle that i swap to.

i notice the effect of cooldown on the bleeds when i swap to axes and the sigil of geo kicks in.

on axe and rifle, sigil of blood works as intended.

i have gotten all my information on this from the sigil of blood and sigil pages of the wiki (also the talk pages of those), and from my own experimenting.

there is still a note about sigil of blood not working with greatswords even though it was removed from the page that remains unanswered.

i dont use greatswords ever, so i cant test it myself.

Sorry, what i meant when i change my weapon is after stacking 25 power with sigil of bloodlust, i change out the GS to another GS with sigil of blood. I have also tried just using the gs with the sigil of blood without stacking power first. Both does not work.

I understand that if you use two sigil that procs only on crits, which ever that procs, there will be a cooldown of 10 sec. But my case does not fall into this scenario.

Since I like and use this sigil often in my builds I found it interesting and therefore I tried Superior Sigil of Blood on my warrior now, with Greatsword. And it works for me. I even recorded it so I could note that as it does 452 dmg and heals 462 HP aka lifesteal on an exact 5 sec cooldown.

is there an animation to this steal blood? also, are you traited to forceful greatsword? i am still trying to figure out what is causing it to not work.

I have not traited Forceful Greatsword. There is no animation. I suggest, reset all of your traits so nothing is traited. Try the sigil. If you still don’t get it to work, try another trait setup. Still nothing? Then it might have nothing to do with your specific trait setup.

I know there have been some rune in the game that had a bug or something where you had to unequip-equip the armor for it to work again. Give something like that a try?

Anyway, could be good if you take screenshots or note as much as possible about your current build and what you are using and then sending in some kind of bug report.

I don’t think it procs if ur hp is full, atleast I dont see the numbers when my hp is full.

Will continue trying. One last question…..is the life steal recorded or shown in the combat log. If it does then i will be much easier to check if it procs or not. Thanks
