Silver doubloons and juggernaut
They are farmable from map rewards.
One can only assume OP realized they were farmable through map rewards mid-sentence yet still somehow posted this thread.
Considering the price has dropped from a high of over 2 gold to as low as 1.10 gold, I would say that the map bonuses are doing their job in making them both farmable and more affordable.

Looks like Gendarren Fields is you farm map of choice today. Or at least until the changeover tonight
In addition to map bonuses you can drop a level 21 character at a JP chest. There’s a small chance of silver doubloons at that level. I put two alts there and scored about 15 of my doubloons that way.

Its a LEGENDARY. Its SUPPOSED to be hard to acquire.

The best JP for this is Weyandt’s Revenge – it has 2 chances to drop a doubloon compared to one at other JPs. You certainly can farm a full stack this way, but it takes a lot of patience, as the drop rate means you’ll get roughly one doubloon per week per character.

It’s supposed to be expensive (your choice: spend time or spend gold). As others have posted, there are numerous ways to farm them (JP farming, JP parking, various map rewards, PvP reward tracks, and the TP).

lol they are 1 gold, I made my Juggy when they were 2.8 gold!
In addition to the new map rewards and leaving a lvl 21 character at Weyandt’s Revenge you can work on forging them too.
Use the pebble level gems and toss them in the forge. I got about 20-30 Silver doubloons from 4 stacks of pebbles.
You’ve got plenty of options now so I don’t see the problem. I made it with 250 and yeah it was a pain, but it’s a legendary and there are ways to get your doubloons.
