Saw a bot just now in silverwastes around the Northern Shelf area, was running to area’s where chests ‘could be’ then swinging the shovel. Watched it for 5 mins till i was sure. No way a player would be swinging at empty area’s with no mounds and yet be exactly where chest ‘could be’. I reported it but most times it feels like ‘reporting’ does next to nothing.

I’m not sure what that means, Nyx, as most people in SW are actively controlling their characters, one key press at a time.

Tbh I don’t mind farming bots. They keep mat prices low.

You know, I have, on occasion, ran to several spots I know are chest spawn points, and swung a shovel to see if they were there, and I am not a bot.

That is not the best indication of a bot. Just sayin.

I’ve done the same thing, i’ve memorized several spots and there doesn’t always need to be a mound to find a chest, the spot can sometimes be “ripe” without a mound.

Don’t the shovels expire after a couple of minutes after they’re used and you can’t find a dig spot? Sounds like a bunch of wasted shovels and a stupid bot to me.

Yepp .. using a bot for that makes not much sense at all.

Was maybe just a new player .. i akso didnt know what to do with the shovel for quite a
while to be honest.
