I have herd from a lot of people that Silverwastes map loot is going to be nerfed as well as Dungeons. Can someone link the page to that information because I don’t trust rumors..

I also don’t like how the forum search engine works because i tried searching it up and the results didn’t help me.

The dungeons are having gold reward reduced but I think SW loot is just speculation.

They’ve been known to nerf good farming spots before (such as Orr) so I wouldn’t doubt it. Hopefully another spot will just take its place since prices will stay the same most likely while people’s gold per hour reduces, resulting in players having to go through more drudgery to meet their goals.

They nerfed Orr farming spots because people were trying to create farming spots where they weren’t intended to exist by stalling and and intentionally failing certain events.

Lets get the entire story okay? It’s not like they did it just to wreck peoples fun.

That being said the nerf to dungeon loot is a bit disappointing but not unexpected.

Anyways, I’m sure there will be new lucrative events and places to kill in the new areas and raids and whatever else.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they nerfed silverwastes loot. It would shut off another way to make gold for the core game only players. Yes, I know that fractals is core game too but with HoT coming out with fractals masteries it is semi core game now. If Silverwastes does get nerfed it is just another step to move the best loot to HoT content.

The thing with Silverwastes is it is helping the economy, unlike dungeons. Almost all of the reward from SW is made from materials rather than pure gold. I guess they will nerf Chest farming but not the event farm itself.

Salvage change will likely lower gold gains from silverwastes as well; even though not a direct “nerf” to that particular content.

First they nerfed plinx

Then they nerfed pent/shelt spawn timers.

Then they nerfed pent//shelter spawn timers again.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a sw nerfed if they would rather see people playing on another map

Ive heard it will then i heard it wont, is there anywhere ANet says it will be nerfed?
