Hi , im kinda new to the game and i have done an event in the Kessex Hils close to the Sojourner’s Waypoint and recived 10 shiny baubles for completing it , its is 3 gold of reward for nothing.
The event was very easy , I needed to deliver some boxes to a kid while bandits attack me.
why am i rewarded so much for this? isnt it too much gold for this simple event?

Those are a map reward for doing events, they are RNG based. I have never gotten more than 5 so you hit the jackpot.
You are probably never going to get that many again so grats.

I never got more than 2 and i got them only in HoT zones…

If you open your map and mouse over the name of a map you’ll see a list of rewards. You receive these rewards for completing events on that map, and sometimes you’ll receive multiples of up to 10.

Map rewards have a chance to give out x10 of certain mats – t6, shiny baubles. As someone said, you just got lucky is all.

Is there a chance from every event or only after accumulation?

Map Event rewards are awarded approximately every 2nd event/JP/etc. There is a weekly cap, as well. You can check the Wiki for each map’s rewards. There is a chance to receive multiples of the rewards, but it’s random, and somewhat unusual to receive more than 1 of each item reward.

Edit: After consulting the Wiki, I found this: Every 20th reward gives ten times as many of the current item. I, personally, was not aware of this fact. So, there you go! =)

The wiki does a pretty good job of explaining how map rewards work, in my opinion. Give it a read and then come back and ask any questions you have.

Short version:

• There’s a set list of map rewards you get from doing events; it changes each week.
• Roughly, you get one reward for every two gold-level events.
• The rewards continue to progress across your account for the entire week.
• The most profitable map varies each week and can be seen here

OHHH i get it now! I have done a lot of event in this map so i reached for alot of points in the reward track.
