Have like them to not be Impressive visually. Sorry, could not fit it all in the title.

Not sure if this has been posted about before as I only tend to lurk and browse rarely. But after a year of playing I’ve tried many different things to bring back the feeling I got when I first encountered the Shatterer and even Teq. The fights ended underwhelmingly though of course cause us players were never going to lose but the first time I saw them I got that “Oooo” feeling… now its an “ugh”.

I’m thinking that something like one of the devourers would have been better as the recurring event. I know they have em in different zones but I wouldn’t have minded killing it as a farm for rares. They’re cool but not as epic.

Teq too could be replaced with a giant undead monster from Orr. Can have all the same mechanics but have a more farmable feel. I don’t mind farming something for mats and such but when it’s impressive looking… I just miss the feeling I got when I first saw them. I don’t know.

Have a good night everyone.

Well, after a while you just get used to all those impressive dragons, it’s just normal human reaction I guess..

Should ANet implement like an even bigger dragon boss, we would be like “Wow, awesome” for the first week, afterwards it’d be like “been there, done that, not impressive at all”..

Also bear in mind that those dragons that we don’t find that impressive anymore still are in the eyes of new players..
