So I was commanding a random group of about 10-15 earlier in the day and we got slaughtered by the skeleton lich. After that we decided its not worth it and ran past him to the other doors around the labyrinth, killing the labyrinth horror relatively quick as well as the Candy Golem Boss. Has anyone figured out a strategy to deal with this legendary yet? I’d love to know cause hes the most difficult legendary out of the 3 by a large margin mainly because those instagib retaliation skeletons.

AoE Boon removal, Meelestack, some even push him into the small building.

There’s a very small gap between when the skeletons are summoned, and when the lich applies retaliation to them. If the group is stacked on the boss and ready to blast AoE as soon as they appear, most of them can be wiped out safely, in doing so eliminating most of the threat.

Or, everyone goes inside the building first and then draws and/or pulls the Lich inside with them, thereby keeping him between you and the skeletons.

I had a commander pull him around a corner by where the door spawns just south of that. Same idea as the hut, I guess. Dunno why it’s better to pull him so far rather than confine him but it seemed to work better for our group. Maybe because people could actually see what was happening.

Try to encourage people to dodge the skeleton spawning move, that should make the fight more manageable.

If it’s backed into the hut, good luck on seeing anything.

Do the same thing you do in every other area of the game, stack on him. It helps to push him towards that little house, he wll get pushed all the way inside and his minions will die so fast to aoe even if you go down a couple times the rallies are instant.

I often see people spamming water fields and blasting to counter the retal from the skeletal minions. But that’s only one part of the battle.

I haven’t been there from the start of the fight to see any type of procedure.

Thank you for the ideas guys, really appreciate it . So far, stacking up and dragging lich to the south in the corner has worked for another group I was leading 2 out of 3 times. I do have to agree with some that its rather difficult to see in that building and how many people would be the ideal amount to take him down?
