Heh… I ninja’d that one after a server reboot. Apparently, the cause behind it bugging are malicious players who cause it to fall off that bridge. Once he respawns his Z axis isn’t reset and there’s your huge bug – he gets stuck inside the bridge.

I have one skill point that’s preventing map completion for me. While frustrating, as someone said earlier, it doesn’t bother me that much. I’m not paying per month, I’ll get it done when it comes available. My bigger worry for world completion is WvWvW – that’s going to take forever!

People, really, I dislike the bugs as the next man, but they have been fixing a few bugged SP and will do this one also. Go back to the area once you see it fixed in some patch notes and finish the area, its not like the area is going to be deleted tomorrow. The things people start drama about in this forum are mindboggling.
I’ll throw my hat in for a “fix” vote on this one. I can’t believe something that would be so seemingly trivial to fix hasn’t been addressed yet.
On that note, this particular zone is bugged beyond belief. I hardly see anyone in there anymore because the main events are stuck in broken, non-finish-able loops. At the VERY least they need to reboot that zone once a day so the stuff is not perpetually broken.

That’s not a fair response. Completing this zone awards TWO exotic weapons or armor, as well as the other standard perks. Having this one skillpoint standing in the way of completion (and getting that good gear) since game launch is an obvious annoyance. If it was something complex, it would be one thing, but the map designer could probably fix a bug like this in mere minutes of work. It’s been reported probably thousands of times by various players.
While it doesn’t annoy you, it’s pretty obvious why this annoys other people.

Considering how short a time the game has been out and bugs are pretty much to be expected in any new game of this size on the market yes. Now if it were 6 months-1 year later you would have a case . Ever play Sims 3? That games been out Lyssa knows how many years and it’s got more bugs than it started with .My friend I don’t see you having a case right now. In fact I think I’m going to prescribe you a 6 moth supply of chill pills cause you could sure use them .
A company that works till the job is done. So far Arena Net has taken weekends off and gone home at 5 (I don’t know what actual quitting time is, but you get the point) despite the bugs and problems in the game. Servers are up, that’s good enough.
By contrast, Blizzard worked 24/7 when Diablo 3 launched to get the game working. I make this comparison because Diablo 3, like GW2 launched with lots of bugs. The difference is how the companies handled that.
This game and Diablo 3 both have in game money making mechanics without a sub, but Blizzard worked till the job was done. I’m not saying anything about the quality of either game, simply remarking about the working state of these games and the companies that made them.
