So, I’m the type of person who likes to hoard things that I might need for the future. As such, I had nearly three stacks of skill point scrolls that I had gotten from various events. The plan was, I was going to use these scrolls on a new hero should I ever decide to continue leveling my necromancer. I logged in today to find that the entire skill point system had changed. This is all well and good, except for one problem…

I went to my bank, and all of my scrolls are gone. I assume they got put onto my main hero, because she’s swimming in points, far more than she will ever need. This is a problem, because I never wanted to use these points on her. Now, instead of being able to put the points on my Necromancer, I have no points on her, and a ton of useless points on my Ranger.

Needless to say I am not pleased by this decision.

The scrolls got converted to a new currency called Spirit-shards. These are in your wallet and therefore accountbound. The Points you got on your main are Hero-Points which you get for lvl up etc. So the scrolls are still there – kind of, but are only used for the mystic Forge.

No your skill point scrolls are spirit shards now.

Press i see the coins in the bottm left corner click that and you will see you spirit shards that you use to buy stuff from the mystic forge vendor.

The hero points are awared for level up so tomes of knowlage 60 or 78 depending if you got a 20 lvl scroll will give you all you need for the 5 base trait lines and all utility skills.

For the elite specilization you will have to get a unknow number of hero challenges ( formely skill challenges out in the open world )

scrolls are spirit shards now, the scrolls in your bank have been converted to this new currency. skill scrolls no longer give skill/hero points, only spirit shards, so it wouldn’t have mattered who you used them on.

you get hero points (skill points) from levelling and doing hero (skill) challenges.

If I had all skill unlocked on character A,B,C,D pre patch then why do I not have them all unlocked now?

All skills are unlocked. Their is a menu when you press H where you can spend your hero points, and unlock all of them. It is a circle diagram, and you click train in the middle. It shows you all the abilities, like physical, utility etc.

So basically you have all the hero points, you just have to click unlock in that menu.

Becouse there is a new system for unlocking so all had to be unlearned.

Pretty much if you get to 80, you get it all. Kind of anticlimactic after the whole traits debacle.

To be determined, how many hero points for the new masteries?
