Anyone know how to get rid of this? The skill in that slot keeps autocasting. This is on my guardian.

Ctrl-right click (I think?) on a different slot, preferably your 1 slot, to choose that one instead for auto cast. Then it will only auto cast when you are attacking something.

There is also a way to tell it not to auto cast anything but I don’t know it off the top of my head.

[Ctrl]+[Mouse-2] (i.e. right click) toggles any individual skill from auto to not-auto. So as Donari says, you can select a different skill (e.g. the first one) to make it the auto-attack or select the current AA skill to turn it off.

The OP could also be referring to the lag induced visual bug that happens regularly. Where the skill keeps flashing like it’s trying to auto but never does.
