Just looking at the new armor skin. In the preview window skin looks awesome, with so much detail, specular, better texture and so. But when i look at the same skin on someone in the game world it looks much worse. It’s look like form 2000. year, low texture, without specular light on it and stuff. Same thing happens with the weapons.
What do you think guys, why is this difference so noticeable?
PS.
My graphic settings are set at max: full HD res, AA on..

Lighting in menus is always at most favourable settings, it differs greatly from the actual world.

In my case, my weapon’s look depends on the “Textures”, so I always keep it at max. For other peoples’ characters, and NPCs, there’s “High-Res Characters Textures” setting, but if you say you have your settings at maximum, then I’m not sure what may be the issue.

No, No, No! Mummified flesh on the left! Dried bones on the right!

Im confused here. I noticed the differences between the graphics between the select menu and in game too, but OP says preview window.

If this is true, it’s somewhat puzzling.

Possibly it could be that the preview windows doesn’t give as up close a view of the armor as one would be able to achieve by using FP view, as the closer you look at something the more detail or lack there off you can see.

I think this is simply that they use different model qualities for the two.
