Since I didn’t see it in the patch notes, can you confirm if the wrappers were removed from the ToT bag drop table? Or are we still going to get them, but have no use for them? Thanks.

I hope my over 4000k entries gets me the Greatsaw skins. It has been the only skins since the first year that I never got. I was lucky enough to get the shield skin. I am sad though that I did not realize they would patch so early. I still have 400 wrappers I did not get to enter. Guess ill save them for next year and hope you bring it back.

I’d love the mad moon or the crossing if they’re part of the skins being given out. Although with the amount of candy wrappers submitted I do not like my chances.

More wrappers means more chances to get a single item or a farmer can get more than 1 specific weapon?

To avoid something like 100 skins ( its impossbile 100, i know :p ) to a single account.

There will be 1000 drawings and in theory one single person could win all of them.

The skins are randomly awarded. No choosing of weapons skins.

I guess the only way we will know if we won is if we get something in the mail.

no. prizes are selected randomly and the skin mailed directly to the winners

what I want to know is if they will announce the winners. not like anyone would know most of the people listed, but it would be nice to know that people won them, instead of just assume it happened.

Most likely they won’t list the winners. Especially if there were people that won multiple skins (as that would likely cause some bad PR backlash).

This is what I get for actually having a life.

I will 100% not win since in game I’m like 9999% unluckier than in RL -where I’m already 100% unlucky when it comes of gambles- sooo I really can’t wait to hear people officially saying they won, so that the pale spark of hope to get it will fade for good >.>

Assuming the shiny foil candy wrapper drop rate is about 0.02 per bag. ( according to a drop rate research on the wiki : http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Trick-or-Treat_Bag/research )
Considering that all the ToT bags looted have been consumed (that is NOT true).
Considering all the foils are given to the skritt …
Then, approximately 2 760 000 foils were given !
There are 1000 halloween skins waiting for a master.
So for each foil given, you have 1 chance out of 2 760 to win ! That’s not so bad, if we compare to other gamble games.
But if you are looking for A skin (that perfect ghastly grinning shield for example), then you juste have :
1 chance out of 27 600 to get it.
That’s still hard for such a beautiful skin

True this ! But it’s pretty hard to determine the exact number of foils bought in gemstore.
Some people in this topic are talking of hundred, thousands of foils they put, I guess they bought them. You may not be far from reality with 4 millions, but I think there were fewer of them. I exagerated my calculations, taking the worst scenario. In fact, not all the ToT bags were consumed, and some people couldn’t put their foils to the skritt since the update came early.
Whatever : good luck to get a skin !

Yeah. I’m sure they will let us know when the weapons have been sorted out and mailed, but naming the winners would be a lot of unnecessary effort just to give some bitter losers targets.

Someone in LA map chat today linked a Grinning Gourd Rifle he got in the mail as a winner. Or so he claimed. As I believe innocent until proven guilty, and he didn’t seem disingenuous, I believe him.

Lol, well it’s possible I guess. Anet said the shields/gs would be drawn first then the others, but they never said what order they’d be mailed out. However I think the best way to tell will be to check the supply on the TP. Undoubtedly, there will be a lot of people who will just sell them.

Yeah I’d like to know an actual date as to when the raffle prizes are going to be sent out….so I know what day to be disappointed :P
