Guild Wars 2

I just noticed that i lose bonus of the helmet rune when underwater. Does this mean that I have to slot the re breather with the same rune to retain the bonus?
I am running 2 Monk, 2 water, and 2 Traveler. Out of water i have 91%boon duration. Underwater I get only 76%.

Yep. Underwater your helmet comes off and you don your aquabreather. If you want set bonuses you’ll need to slot the appropriate rune.

man I really gotta change that lvl 2 breather I have on my guardian since day one…..

gna slot a superior rune on a green lvl 80 breather that sucks… should have slotted rune of water… good thing it wasnt that traveler rune.

Rebreathers should just become cosmetic. They add nothing to the game and are just an extra slot to gear up.
