Small Guild Feedback
I feel the need to write another post on small guilds being dealt a bad deal on the new “features” introduced for guilds. I lead a very small guild of friends and family, and this new update gives us nothing to strive for. The old system allowed us to progress. Yes, it was VERY slow, and we would never obtain the great things the bigger guilds could, but we could at least strive for something and attain it. It was weeks/months for us to get to 20K influence…but when we did accumulate it we researched something. It was fun….
With the new system, we cannot figure out how to actually obtain anything. It is so far beyond our reach it is very disappointing. I have no issue with how the system works for bigger guilds, mainly because I am not in one, and hence have no frame of reference.
I wish I had some great idea for how to improve this, but alas I do not. I preferred the influence system, as it gave us smaller guilds an ability to strive for something, even if it was slow. I understand that system had its own issues, but I think it was better than this new one.
I completly agree. It is just a slap in the face for smaller guilds.
Some people on this forum feel as though small guilds should not exist and that everyone should be in a 500 man zerg guild.
Back when we had the CDI thread about Guilds one of my concerns was how viable they should be for small guilds.
Apparently the answer to my concern was not very viable at all. Which is disappointing because they took away everything vanilla guilds had to put in these new guild functions.

I don’t know how small your guilds are but the guild I’m in has been able to unlock the guild hall and progress through the buildings all with 5 active members. We have received no outside help. We are currently at level 14.
If you need help unlocking the hall, ask. If you need guidance on how to unlock a building Dulfy has a pretty good guide on how to get started.

We have a small guild of friends and family. We have been able to get our guild hall up to level 10 with mostly three active people. We have been happy with our speed of upgrading so far.
I’m an officer in a relatively small guild of 20 regularly logging in. 10-15 being active. Less actually donating to treasurey often in comparison to our ‘core’ roster .
We’re Guild Level 19 today. And are working on Tavern Restoration 2.
Most of our members want to play as groups rather than us being a Guild of solo players, who want to keep all their gold.
If you pull together it will all fall into place. Ghall is entirely doable as a small guild.
lol Guild lvl 0-20…….y’all haven’t hit the wall yet. The upgrades go from wanting 10 or 20 of high priced items to 200 or 300. Gl trying to get a guild scribe as well as they need much of the same mats in vast quantities. It really does go from reasonable to wtf in a short amount of time.
