I was checking through the medium armor sets in the new wardrobe, and found a couple I didn’t know about – a “Sneakthief” set and a “Strider’s” set. The latter appears to be a gem shop item, but I can’t find any mention of Sneakthief on the wiki, or this forum, and even Google doesn’t turn up any results as far as I can tell. Does anyone know about that armor set and where you get it from? It looks like it might be crafted from what I see on the trading post, but I’m not really sure how.

Side note, both those two armor sets seem to work really well for charr characters – a very rare thing for medium armor.

Some Sneakthief pieces were unlocked for me by adding the “Mad King’s Slippers” from the Halloween event (Sneakthief Sandals) and “Zho’s Leggings” (Sneakthief Leggings).

I was looking at armor the other day and was looking at shiro’s boots. They have the same skin as the sneakthief boots. The entire armor set might be the same.

Looks like they’ve changed the names of some sets. Unless the Scallywag set was always called that and I never noticed.

Sneakthief is the Named Exotic skin/Rabbit PvP chest armor.
Strider’s is the new gemstore set.

All items now have a “skin designation” attached to them. Most of the skin designations are brand-new, as Anet had to build an entirely new identifier system on top of the old item system. So you have an item, and it has a particular skin designation that identifies what it looks like.

iirc sneakthief is just the high level duelist set renamed. You can buy that look from exotices in the 60+level range, named stuff like Nika’s etc..
