probably just the way they swing.
just your head lol, but the female swings more elegantly though
If you put your mind into it, you can accomplish anything.
The way the animations are programmed (in most games, and I would assume in GW2), it could look like it is striking earlier, but it couldn’t possibly actually be striking earlier. Timers, projectiles, and hit boxes are not dependent on animations.
