…and the charge on my credit card is flagged as fraudulent. Is the company that made GW2 reputable?

To my knowledge it is, yes. Maybe there was a mistake? Where did you buy the game exactly?

As far as I know there were many refund requests around release. Maybe it has something to do with that?

Some banks like flagging NCSoft a lot. I heard of this happening often for gem purchases. They just find it fishy for some reason. Hasn’t happened to me so I lack anymore detail.

I think it’s because it was an online purchase (digital version) and those get flagged easier.

Yea, its just a bank/security thing.

New strange/purchases trigger it occassionally.

Nothing to do with the company that made GW2.

You can try calling your bank and telling them you approve the purchase, however my bank will not approve purchases with a credit card via ncsoft, a debit card did work but of course offers less security with online purchases.

Yup, it’s more of just something at your bank.

I still am a WoW customer. I have a recurring subscription with them still. Have had it for years.

Pre-MoP, me and my wife bought Battle Chest accounts to get RaF levels to grant our new monks up to 80 fast. Even though every month we get charged by Blizzard, those transactions still got flagged as potentially fraudulent at our bank.

If you bought the game, then you know it is isn’t fraudulent.
