So, while I was chatting in Lions Arch the game kicks me for “excessive player inactivity.”

I guess we aren’t supposed to chat with other players in game or something? It was a decent conversation too (albeit a bit random at times lol)… I mean what else am I supposed to do; I refuse to gear grind (I can put in my time in a game, but grinding purely for gear is not something I find entertaining), the level 80 areas are all empty, the lower level areas are all empty, dungeons are just boringly repetitive, my wolf has way too shiny of a coat (looks like its a plastic toy), a Grawl Shaman tried to convert me today, a skritt took my lunch money and ran off shouting something about shinies (I think the poor thing might be off its rocker…), some Asura almost convinced me to be a guinea pig for some weird experiment…

Oh, wait; a bit off topic there.

On a more serious note: Anet why did you kill off what remained of the open world population T_T

I’d personally love to hear about an update to the open world areas events and stuff that makes players want to run around in them again, especially “lower level” areas (let’s face it; the “high level” areas aren’t very popular and people only played in them because those were the best farming spots…).

I’d also like to see more player usable siege weapons in the open world PvE content (actually it would be cool to have some in dungeons as well); maybe even make them useable items players can set up.

The inactivity warning is RPers enemy sometimes, it seems. When we have been sitting around talking at the campfire for a while, you see people randomly starting bouncing around and shooting spells just to kill the inactivity warning that pops up. Even though we have been active with posting in the chat all the time. And sometimes after your little out-of-character jump section, you sit down and continue with the RP as if nothing happened. Sometimes you are fine, and sometimes you get kicked out anyway after a while without a second warning and with a message on your character screen that says you have been kicked out for inactivity.
Apparently you have to move your character to be accepted as active. Posting in chat does not seem to count as an activity.

just another thing the devs implemented to take out bots / gold sellers,

they simply dont get it that it affects normal players more than the one who want to break this game

seriously?…why would you complain about something so insanely easy to prevent?. How hard is it to move a fraction of an inch? :/
