There is artwork depicting horses in GW2 and references to them in the game and books, but I have yet to see even one!

Tall broken down walls..mmm could be in the Ascalonian areas where the ghosts hang around. Just my 2 cents.

…there are Toy Horses in the Circus area in Divinity, and lore talking about a Canthan Emperor and his horse iirc, but there aren’t any horses in gw1 nor 2 (unless you count centaurs..)

One popular fan theory is that there used to be horses at some point before GW1 but they went extinct for reasons which are unclear.

There are, they get used in the books. there just have never been any visible in game.(Aside from the necrid horsemen) even in GW1 they didnt have horses(visible ones, aside from the Necrid horsemen. Always Dolyaks!

The horses ran all over the world, gathering XP with each new discovered place. Eventually, they gathered so much XP they started to evolve, but with the God’s gone, there was no-one to press B so they ended up evolving into centaurs.
