Q:

Did I understand that correctly, we will not be able to put points into every trait line if we like? It’s 3 lines max?

What about builds like this, this, this or this?

What happened to “play the way you like”?

Midnight Mayhem [MM]
Gunnar’s Hold

I understood it as being able to max out up to three instead of up to two.

Was there a little thing about that I missed?

Edit: I just read it again and I see what you mean. Now I’m unhappy again. kitten

More importantly: What happened to 14/14/14/14/14 builds?

The only crime, turrets committed, is being good against the celestial meta.
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.

Ok lets just get this straight, will we be able to complete 3 trait lines and not just 2 or what is happening?

Remember that traits will not be what they are right now, so any current builds become outdated. You may well be able to get the same results once the expansion is released.

Essentially, you will have to choose 3 trait lines to focus on. (Or 2 trait lines + the new elite.)

They’re re-arranging a lot of the tier placements, eliminating some traits, combining others, etc. Traits will be tier-locked. On the upside, we will get 3 complete traits lines— one adept, one master, and one grandmaster trait for each specialization. So we sort of get two extra traits; we just can’t spread them out across as many trait lines.
