So are those patch notes real or fake?
Care to tell what patch notes you are referring?
I doubt we’ll have any confirmation of them being real, even if they’re actually real. And they would be rather busy finding the one who leaked them (probably to torment, burn and fire him).
I guess no comment from ANet means they’re real, cause they’re probably not allowed to officially reveal the patch notes until shortly before the patch goes live.
If they were fake, they probably could just say so. Especially since it would stop all this commotion on the forums.
Well. The fifth Death Shroud skill has a different name in the leaked patchnotes as opposed to the blog post.
The patchnotes are also written with worse grammar and composition than previous patch notes.
However, there are plenty of fixes which leads me to believe that these patchnotes are an early version of what is to come. Something the devs have used for internal use.
Since these patchnotes the Death Shroud skill has gotten a new name, and therefore we might also see other changes.
I’d say it’s safe to assume they are a good indication of what we can expect, but we should take lightly on specific changes.

seems real enough. Not exactly patch notes, but still.

It wouldn’t surprise me that these are fake as with other games, when global trait changes occur, someone creates a fake and leaks it.
Someone went through a lot of trouble to make them, so I think they are real.
If they are fake, then that troll deserves a medal.
We won’t get any answer, neither denial nor acknowledgement. ANet will do what any company would do in this situation, pretend it never happened
Looks fake to me :/

Yeah this. If they are fake that’s probably the most effort I’ve ever seen put into trolling.
Wish someone screenshotted them or something >_>
They were real, because if not someone would have told it already, and there is nothing, and worse, because they are already threads about this deleted, but still no info, so they know the issue but not saying anything because they are for real.
They seem pretty legit and have not been denied, which would have been expected if they were fake. Furthermore, they seem pretty balanced so not a very fake try either.
If someone made this, he put a whole lot of effort into it, gathering the best suggestions on the forums and compiling them into believable notes. On the other hand, they may just be legit or cliff’s notes from an earlier build (which explains the grammar)
My bet is on legit. My hopes too

Those two pretty much sum up my opinion about those patchnotes.
