Hi all, sorry if this has been answered before. Me and my girlfriend have bought the game four days ago. Why can we not still trade? well use “mail”. We hecked online, no definitive answer.

Would someone please help me us out. This is absolutely stupid. We bought the game due to one of the draw-backs of not being able to “trade” . We bought the game four days ago as i said above.

There is no trade feature in gw2. We’re limited to sending mail and the trading post.

What do you mean by trading? As in player to player trading? Because that does not exist in GW2 and for good reason. You can use mail, and guild banks to share storage that both your accounts can access.

Okay, il make it clear, why can we not use the mail feature after four days of us buying the game.

You have to wait 7 days before being able to use it. It is an in-game security feature because of gold sellers, hackers and other aholes. You must also reach level 6 on a toon before being able to send mail as well.

Okay, We bought HOT FOUR days ago, the MAIL feature is still locked, when will it be unlocked? Thats all…..

From the link posted above;

“New accounts cannot send or receive any mail attachments until 7 days (of real-world) time have passed. This even applies to accounts that purchased the game.”

In 3 more days you will be able to
