I thought arenanet promised that they would never release higher tier gears like other mmo. So what’s next? Ultimate legendary gear?

This game is nothing like the guild wars i loved. Sorry, i have to give up, don’t have time farming gears is a video game.

Lol… first of all, nowhere did they promise that.
Second of all, please explain, rationally and concisely, why exotic gears are trash now?

Also, who said you had to farm gear?

Actually, it’s only accessories and the back item that are being changed this patch. This stat difference is very minuscule, but will eventually add up.

That is why they are slowly adding these items, so players have time to acquire them, and not have to feel forced to get every single piece right away.

I personally preferred the cosmetic route, but hey, I’m not complaining. I welcome more endgame content

They will be adding items at a pace.
Jewelry comes 1st as far as I’ve read, then armor, then weapons.
So you’ll have plenty of time to get the items even with your exotics.

Just FYI, I’ve made with a warrior(full rares-wep,armor,jewels) just about all there is to do in the game aside from 2-3 dungeon paths.And I didn’t have much, if any problems.
So no, exotics won’t become trash.

The thing about the “it’s only 5 points” thing is, the same can be said of the other tiers. But I don’t really want to run dungeons with someone who’s in level 76 common rarity armor just because “it’s almost the same thing.”

If you’re going to deck out your character, do it. And that means exotics are a waste of time, when you can just be farming for Ascendant armor. You don’t see people clamoring to buy up rare armor, do you? No, they farm karma for the best. Because that’s the game.
