Does anybody know if there is anything worth paying gems and going to this place for besides “Convenience”? IE merchants with items you can’t buy anywhere else etc.

It’s just convenience.

It also has value that you don’t have to deal with your typical Lion’s Arch beggars.

Not so far. I’m still waiting for the ‘magicians’ to show up, which is why I got the Royal Pass. To date, I would say, save your gems.

the royal pass can drop too!

yesterday i did the champ events in the crown pavilion for the living story achivements (100 kills for each city etc) with the help of the zerg of farmers and one enemy dropped a royal pass for me

Think of it as a Sam’s Club membership, but without any discounts.

Did a Royal Pass drop!?! Ugh, now I’m sad I wasted my gems on buying it. =(

Should be a forever thing, and not a 2 weeks things.

I have 2 “royal passes” too bad I can’t sell for 300 gems
