I remember seeing those medium servers were actually very high in population.

They increased server capacity for the 2nd? time since I started. Don’t tell the doomsayers, they might start to think their wrong.

It could be they started removing account info as well. Or they increased how many accounts each server can hold.

I can think of 3 possible explanations:

1) They’ve increased server capacity again. They’ve done it before once or twice and they might be anticipating a surge in activity when the Dragon Festival starts.

2) They’ve just done a massive sweep for bots and other EULA violations and banned them. I know they like to remove bots all together after finding as many as they can to reduce the chance that ones they missed will realise how the others got caught and change their behaviour to hide themselves.

3) A few months ago when there was a lot of talk about how server capacity is determined there was speculation that if you were inactive for long enough your account would ‘detatch’ from a server, freeing up your spot for someone who is still playing and when you next logged in you’d be asked to pick one again. Maybe that’s started happening.
