In the janurary 28th patch, the corrupted shortbow was changed to a different skin. In the recent janurary 31st patch, the corrupted shortbow was changed back. I can understand the reasoning behind this – someone put a lot of effort into making the corrupted shortbow and they did this because they like it – but kitten if that new skin doesn’t look so much better to me. Could we have the new shortbow back as some kind of exotic recipe? It won’t hurt anyone to have an extra skin in the game.

EDIT: And while we’re at it, give an option to return legendary shortbow to the old skin.

It was a mistake making the skin like that. It wasn’t intentional so they reverted it.

I know. Can we get an option to make it in some other way?

Dreamer still has the same skin. Only thing that changed is the projectile which looks so kittening awesome now. Sadly, I’m still only halfway there because Lover is so expensive.

I crafted the corrupted short bow very early in this game and it was the same skin as the long bow. Confirmed by an old thread but I can not find it. Since they nerfed short bow I no longer use short bow anymore so I have not equipped it in a long time, but its still looks like the long bow skin to me. I thought when I first started reading this that maybe they finally got around to giving corrupted short bow its own skin but I can not really tell any more. My guildmate is currently saving lodestones for the long bow so I will be able to compare, but the shortbow does look kinda shorter to me so maybe they did give it its own skin over the last few months and I did not notice?
