So... was gonna request stuff.
Paragraphs, PLEASE! It would be so much easier to read if it was separated into thoughts.
ANet may give it to you.
I have had to get 3 separate accounts. Because I have been hacked and nothing was done.. I mean heck.. in the 6 plus years I played wow.. that never happened. . . . I’m sorry they hacked me 1 time. Someone at bliz felt bad enough about 1 single player. He sent me 25k in gold money, not to mention the authenticator and 4 months of wow they paid for me.. it takes 4 days to hear back from ya..
Did you put in a proper support ticket when you got hacked on your first account? I mean, I’ve never heard of support never getting back to someone, especially for a hacked account issue. Anytime someone has claimed that, it was a case of the response getting sent to the player’s Spam folder or that they submitted a Bug Report instead of a support ticket.

I agree. Paragraphs and full sentences instead of short, disjointed bits of thoughts would make this much easier to read.
From my first attempt all that I can tell is it’s another complaint about RNG, but I’m unclear on which specific areas the OP is concerned about or if it’s just the general concept of RNG. If it’s the second one then that’s quite a big and complicated topic, but it has been covered on this forum many times before.

Yes. Posted multiple tickets each time. Nothing came of it. So.. it is what it is..

Well, you only need to post one ticket. Posting multiples basically means you won’t get a response (or at least not one anytime soon). Honestly, if you contact them now (one ticket) about that hacked account, you could probably have it restored.
Why bother. It’s has been a year or so. Other account dosnt have HoT or anything. Of value on it?

And when you didn’t get an answer did you check your spam and junk folders or did you post in the stickied thread: tickets for review. 3 days and older for an admin to look into it?

Well, you brought it up, so . . .

So, you’ve been hacked 3 times so far? Twice in this game and once with WoW? That sounds like a security problem on your side. Have you secured your email? The hacker might be getting into it and removing the emails from ANet which would be why you never got a response. Maybe you should look into getting a different email and also getting an authenicator for it if you’re being hacked multiple times.

3 times in this game alone. Only once in wow and we found out who it was. So meh.
And no now one knows the log in to my email and such. I change passwords once every 2 weeks. . . But it’s over. I was making a statement. That be that.
Back to work now. Ta

That’s very strange that you were hacked that many times without doing something such as buying gold from a third party. Honestly, if I were you, I’d contact support even if it has been a long time just to see if they can help find why you’re this vulnerable to hacking.

You’ve been hacked 4 times in 2 different games?
That’s not ANet’s fault if you were hacked 3 times in this game. That number of security breaches isn’t even close to average. You have a severe security problem and you’re doing something that makes you vulnerable. As suggested above you either should contact support and discuss with them how to fix the holes in your security or talk to a friend who is knowledgeble about computers.

Sounds like he was unable to prove ownership then. Possibly the hacker got into his email and found the purchase email (which will cause the account to be closed down if 2 people are claiming it and both can prove ownership) or he didn’t keep the necessary information, and this or something similar happened up to 4 times.

Just fyi if you’ve been hacked multiple times 90% chance you have a trojan virus on your pc.
My first step would be reformat the hard drive, only way to be sure.

That sounds too far fetched to believe.

What?
That he was hacked 3 times in this game and once in another (that he admits to) and he blames ANet for 3 of those times? I agree. That’s awfully far fetched, but he said it himself.
Or do you mean that someone who was hacked 4 times and thinks it’s someone else’s fault wouldn’t keep proper documentation of his accounts?
Or that someone who was hacked 4 times doesn’t know how to keep his email or his accounts secure?
There’s so many possibilities.
Edit: Account security
“The basic truth is this: hackers steal game accounts because they already know the account name and password. They know them because they stole them (via security breaches or spyware) from another game or site where the person used the same account name and password.”
(Snip)
“Unfortunately, even with this system in place, people still get their accounts hacked. Here’s how. First, about a third of players haven’t verified their email address yet. We can’t require email authentication for players with unverified email addresses. Second, in many cases hackers have stolen credentials for the player’s email account too, and thus can access the authentication email message and approve their own login attempt. In particular this happens because people use the same password for their email account as they do for their Guild Wars 2 account and other accounts.”
ANet may give it to you.

Firstly, use a different password for your game than your email. Make both passwords a sentence rather than a word or small phrase or your favourite pet or your boyfriend/girlfriend’s name etc.
Then use the 2 Tier authentication that keeps harassing you when you log in if you’ve not done so already.
ArenaNet do great work in keeping our accounts safe, to where they can. But the truth of the matter is, people’s accounts are their own responsibility at the end of the day.
In fact, I would probably go so far as to say all accounts that are hacked are down to the player being at fault, not ArenaNet.

No, what is far fetched is that, whereas WoW, fixed the problem, got his account back, and gave him a Costumer sanctification bundle, but, when it came to their Anet account, it’s somehow expected for us to believe that someone hacked his e-mail just to delay the correspondence by 4 days, and that this would be done 3 separate times. Now, to anyone who is not a devout Anet banner-waver, poor CS on Anet’s part, sounds far more realistic.

What? I didn’t say that. I said I didn’t see where he didn’t get answered for 4 days. I was speculating that a hacker intercepted the mail because I thought he didn’t get a return answer,. Not that a hacker delayed the answer for 4 days. Support can take several days to answer. 4 days is quite possible.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me four times… um.
Someone’s got your email password. If CS wouldn’t lock your account and restore to its rightful owner after being told it’s been hacked it’s because the hacker wrote back to them with YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS saying “false alarm, nevermind. All good here.”
(edited by tolunart.2095)
When some nefarious individual compromises the email account associated with the game account, which happens quite frequently with compromised GW2 accounts, they usually intercept the emails from the CS Team, just so they can keep the compromised accounts as long as possible. These accounts are used for RMT purposes such as spamming Gold-selling messages, botting for items/mats/Gold, and collecting and distributing RMT Gold/items.
Thus, not so ‘far-fetched’.
So to sum it up, op has real life like most of us, jobs and stuff to do, and it’s Anet’s fault you don’t have time to grind shiny stuff and you don’t get handed everything on the silver platter? Mmo’s sound like games you should avoid then.
I agree with some of the other posters up above that YOU are the one that is compromized, and your response to it shouldn’t be “meh”. It may not be just your email account/password.
Other possibilities you need to look into are:
Email provider – if its a small dodgy operation
PC – viruses, trojans, key-stroke loggers,etc
Internet router/wireless network – surprising number of people have “admin” as their password, or don’t secure networks at all. And if you use a public wifi, security on those are almost always kitten.
It’s just a matter of time before someone gets to your credit card number or your bank login.
