First off, that presentation was really cool…excited about pretty much everything. However, with that being said…what comes now? We only got the finale of Living Story season 2, so what’s next? What are they going to be adding to the game up until the launch of the expansion?

Arenanet took a break for the holidays, and gave us 1 Living Story episode (the finale), so far. Will we get a season 3 to tide us over till launch? Will the game remain stale up until the launch of HoT? I know they haven’t announced what their plans are, so it’s impossible to know…I’m just really curious.

Mike O’brien said the first playable demo will be at Pax East in 6 weeks, and then at some other event. After summer seems plausible.

Why would you say soon? It’s usually 6 months between Living Story seasons. But in this case, with an expansion, they can probably milk it for another four to five months. When people get impatient, they’ll just say “expansion coming!!” So I’d say definitely no earlier than summer and probably winter, in time for holidays.

I know Dragon Bash happened in June, but I don’t recall any other seasonal between now and then.

Dragon bash didn’t happen last year at all. Did it?

Oh heck. Sure enough, it only happened in 2013. I always thought of it as something akin to the Chinese New Year. But, nope, they didn’t repeat it last year.

Hope they have something to tide us over until the expansion’s release.

Lots of new info every week or so about the new super classes the new class new pve new wvw etc.. for the next 4 months? I am not sure what the time table looks like.
