I’ve now got 11 ascended rings surplus to requirements, all from fractals. What do you good folk do with them?

I know I can salvage them at a cost of 1 gold each but does that pay back?

Salvage the infused ones, toss the rest. The net gain from salvaging the normals is really small.

If you have spare mist essence in the appropriate amounts, it’s worth it to infuse the rings and then salvage (it’s not worth it to promote or demote one type into the other in order to do so).

Yeah, it just seems so wrong to just dump them. None are infused and I now have 23 of the darned things (I forgot about some stashed on an alt).

Just sell them to the vendor, unless you can infuse and make use of them, or I guess salvage, but I don’t have nearly enough mist essences. I find it amazing that an ascended ring vends for 5s, whereas one of the dumb spoon collectables sells for twice that amount. They really should vend for more… Yet another dangling poorly thought out thing in this game…

Yeah, my next toon is going to be an LA Vendor. Buying up Ascended stuff for a paltry 5 silvers then polishing them up and selling them “as new” through his Laurel-obsessed buddy.

Non infused gives you one “drop” from the salvage, infused gives,you two “drops”

I had no more than posted this, when I found the answer. When salvaging an infused ring, you still get matrix, but you will get at a minimum 4. That is break even territory. You will likely get more than that, and make a little profit.

But that is only for infused. Regular ascended rings are just vendor fodder.

So, vendor regular one, and salvage infused ones if they drop that way or if you have the correct ingredients to infuse them.

Or just hang onto the regular ones and upgrade them when you have spare mist essences.

What should I do with all unused itens I got from fotm?? I have almost 200+ and I don’t know what should I do.

There are now ascended salvage kits so you can salvage those rings for materials, some of which are needed for other ascended/legendary gear

Sorry, the devs merged the topics, now I read this topic and I would like to know if worth 1g for salvage them. because I’m full ascended armor with all my toons. and like I said, I have more than 200rings.

Only worth salvaging rings if they’re infused.
