So, what's the point of sinking ships...
I doubt risen have to breathe. However the obvious reason to sink the boneships is that A) it slows the movement of risen since the ships can carry risen around quickly and it stops the ships throwing giant rotten fish full of disease and risen at us.

I’m sure he knows the tactical advantages of sinking their bone ships, but, I think what he’s getting at is why are we SINKING a ship that can sail underwater, lol.
Also, hearing what the eye saw, that’s funny haha. That didn’t ‘click’ with me at the time.
The straight answer is: apparently, destroying the structural integrity of the ship renders it unusable. It’s sort of like shooting zombies in the head. They don’t have brains, but it seems to work anyway.
The real answer: they aren’t worth karma, silver or exp afloat.

Actually, they’re only worth karma silver and exp while afloat. As soon as they’re sunken they’re worthless to every player in the zone ;o
Little known fact: Risen are actually quite emotionally sensitive and will go home and sulk in a corner when their toys are broken.
Why didnt the octopus lookin guys ship in the pirates of the carribean, ever just sail everywhere underwater?
Because:
What’s the point of getting a legendary ship if nobody can see it?
What’s the point of getting a legendary weapon if nobody can see it?
What’s the point of getting a legendary mount if nobody can see it?
