The title says it all. Who’s next? Primordus, Jormag, Kralkatorrik, or one of the two unknown dragons?

No matter which one it turns out to be, I hope I’ll be able to make a sandwich while I auto attack the entire fight.

Adventuring makes me hungry.

Apparently, a bunch of ragtag steampunk pirates are next. Maybe they’ve built a dragon.

could be that this is all connected somehow to one of the dragons…or maybe not

The inquest is allied with the new pirates, they don’t seem to be tied to any one dragon but do like to use the dragons power.

The Dragons are an ancient, powerful, and proud race. One of the “unknown” dragons has been intentionally hidden from us by his kin, because he is named simply “Spot”, and they don’t want their image to suffer.

Is it a coincidence that we are now up against the
S ky
P irates
O f
T yria?

I think perhaps not!

Yeah could be embarrassing.

Are you even sure Zhaitan is really dead? Nobody, can confirm Zhaitan is dead since there is no body to confirm it. And even if all the NPC in the game said so, there is always the option to bring Zhaitan back from the dead. It is the Zombie Dragon btw……

Maybe there is an evil faction that is trying to ressurect Zhaitan and we, as the big heroes, will go in their lair/dungeon to stop their plans. Reminds me of Slaver Exile in GW1

I seriously doubt it.

I think this is just a part of Anet’s plan to fill in that great empty spot in center of the World Map called the sea of Sorrows. We won’t see another dragon until a real expansion.

Personally I think Jormag is likely to be next. The main reason the Pact and the individual races and organisations that formed it went after Zhaitan first was that he was causing them the most trouble. He arose after Primordius and Jormag but his minions spread further, multiplied faster and showed no signs of stopping. They’d already overrun the sylvari areas and parts of the human areas and cut off the continent of Tyria from the rest of the world (by sea anyway).

Jormag seems to be the next most troublesome. The Branded are confined to the Dragon Brand and Crystal Desert and don’t seem to be spreading outwards from there and although we know the Destroyers have overrun the underground they rarely appear on the surface and not in large numbers. The other two dragons haven’t even been seen, the worst we’ve had from them is more krait around the coasts. (And considering krait were all over the coast in GW1 as well I’m not sure that’s really a huge change).

Unless of course the way they handle it is something like how they justified Tyrian characters in the expansions storylines in GW1 – an expansion comes out which adds a new race whose homelands are overrun by the minions of a dragon and they appeal to the 5 currently playable races and The Pact to help them stop it.

Although even then I think it’s a good chance it will be the Kodan fighting Jormag.

The fact that we keep finding tiny pieces of him all over the dungeon in Explorable mode is a hint.

Except that the majority of that area is also the Dominion of Winds – the Tengu homeland which is closed to outsiders.

We’re not going to be able to go there until the Tengu open it up to outsiders and the way they’ve set it up makes me think they’re saving that area for an expansion where the Tengu become a playable race. The area is just about the right size for a city and starter zone and it’s got links to other 1-15 and 15-25 zones and Lion’s Arch.

How could anet possibly top such classic fights as “press 2 to zhaitan” or “Stand on a rock and auto attack shatterer”?
