A quick update on this one -> After feedback from presenting the original hero point count – we decided getting to level 80 will give you enough hero points to unlock all the core skills and traits entirely. Doing hero challenges (aka skill challenges) will simply allow you to earn all the skills/traits earlier before level 80. With the release of HoT, there will be options to spend the excess hero points earned from doing hero challenges in the world.

There are a number of other changes on 6/23 to make the experience from 1-80 more exciting, better-paced, rewarding, and fun as well after having the time to evaluate and player feedback from the updates last year.

Does this mean that we will be able to see the updates to the Personal Story, such as adding in that piece that was taken out a long time ago, and more importantly, (to me at least) being able to run the final Personal Story Instance Solo?

I’m really hopeful too. While I like doing group content, trying to get a group up for the Zhaitan Story is kind of hard / long. It would be great if this comes in during the patch.

Maybe they’ll surprise us in the patch notes? Or maybe they can just tell us now.

What makes you so confident about it, that this is straight the right answer?

From reading what CJ as written in the past, it clearly sounds absolutely after it, that todays patch is alot more, than just changing only the trait system.

From what we know so far, todays patch comes over already like a little “Feature Pack”

• It will change the complete Trait System in preparation of HoT
• It will change Lions Arch to its complete rebuild new design, also in preparation of HoT

and Colin clearly said, that the patch will include also improvements to the overall game experience which go over the complete level range from start to end of the game.
So bringing up with the Patch also a kind of reversal of the silly NPE and turning back the Personal Story to its original and working state how it was at Release Day together with added changes and improvements to make Zhaitan soloable ect. is absolutely in the cards and more than possible to be all along the other changes, that will get brought to us with the patch from today!

So I’m really interested about it, what makes you so clearly believe, that the patch today won’t change anything about it, when officially everything basically speaks agaisnt your straight “No” ??
