Solo player challenges?
What about the mini dungeons?
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
What about the mini dungeons?
I’m looking to things to do by myself. If they had instanced mini dungeons, i would be happy to challenge myself to solo them.
What about the mini dungeons?
I was gonna say that.
Also try these for a challenge:
- Solo Queen Spider at the beginning of AC (It’s proven possible)
- Solo group events in areas between 1-60 (they highest group event I’ve soloed was level 60; I’m sure there are others who have done better)
- Solo Cave Troll in Queensdale (it’s possible, but there may be other people around)
- Soloing champions in general.

You can solo most of them:
“A release is 7 days or less away or has just happened within the last 7 days…
These are the only two states you’ll find the world of Tyria.”
I will give you something to ponder..
Everything is a challenge if you are terrible at the game.

Some of the exploration achievements can be quite fun solo as well. Like exploring the two ships (one sunken, the other on land) in Orr.
I’ve seen video’s of people soloing Lupicus, but that’s a bit too time consuming for me, and actually getting to that part in the dungeon would still require a group of people.
Any class can get to lupi solo as well. Any class

You just blew my mind… It’s time to take my armour off and play in HARDCORE MODE!

hehehe.. I actually will weaken myself to using just one or two skills quite a bit. It also helps to hone my ability on those specific skills, but it sure can make some fights hard!

It also helps to hone my ability on those specific skills, but it sure can make some fights hard!Currently, I am practicing not using active evades AT ALL, but only those available through my weapon sets (currently ranger sword/dagger & greatsword). Cant rave enough about the class with that weapon set. :P Ideally, when all is said and done, I will start implementing active dodges again and be even better than before.

Tried to fix it, but that is one pervasive message board bug!

Other things to try
1. Use Level 1 gear from 1-80
2. Delete your character if you die and restart it.
3. Sneak your way into the enemy spawn point in WvWvW without using stealth

I don’t think Flame Temple Tombs can be solo-ed due to the flame spouts in the casket room. But quite a few of them can.
Champion Victurius and his Branded Army in Iron Marches might be a good challenge for a solo encounter.

He’s an awesome solo fight – my ranger did it (well almost, a pair of folks came by and got the last three or four hits in on him, but the point is I could have done it). He will keep spawning army mobs that you have to kill before you can keep attacking him, and all the while he’s walking through a branded infested area. I used every trick in my bag and had a blast doing it.
He might start thinking he knows what’s right for you.
