Hey I just wanted to share some ideas of some boss abilities, spells and obstacles that I’d like to see in the game in future boss battles.

-A big spotlight follows one player around. It sucks up the player into the sky slowly at first but then rapidly. If the player doesn’t get out of it or swim out of it (in the air) in time, then they will be whisked into the sky and fall down from a great distance that will kill them if they don’t aim their landing into one of the pools of water.

-All the candles in the hall are blown out save for one randomly candle in the distant. The room is totally dark and players must rush to the remaining light. The boss will possess a random player still in the dark. Allies will have to down him/her to knock them out of it.

-The boss flaps his wings for a long duration of time causing a cone of gusts of wind that pushes back players inside the cone. Pushed too far and players will fall off the arena have to run back up. All the while, the boss charges a shield that, if not broken in time, will explode causing massive AOE damage.

-The boss spawns hordes of tiny hopping bugs that latch onto players. Your team must work together to push them away, kill them as much as possible or run away from them. The more bugs latching onto you means the more the boss leeches your HP.
