Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!

In this thread i wanna ask why are no mounts in guildwars2? I think that would be a nice thing. You would get faster from one place to an other?

And why is this game called “GuildWars” when there are no Guild vs Guild wars? Or do i understand there something wrong?

The ability to waypoint teleportation makes mounts unnecessary for fast travel.

There are no mounts because exercise is good for you.

Plus, think about the dolyaks. Those poor creatures are already being heavily harrased by the world. And all they want is to peacefully walk around and eat snow.

There IS a mount. The broomstick!

Because armor clipping is already an issue for some races and armor sets, just walking around Lions Arch. Imagine the issues magnified by sitting on a dolyak, or riding at a gallop?

This one, and capes are “too hard” for Anet and they’ve said that a few times.
