Apparently they haven’t listened to the community when it comes to temporary content and what one must do in order to achieve the items that one would like. First last LS patch they decided to make the Aether armor all store bought when the community has been crying out for more available in game only cosmetic armors. (including the request to add multiple armorsets and change the racial armors to cost karma like they did the weapons).

Now they’ve fixed the issues with the sylvari when the Charr players have been having really noticeable problems with clipping and armor pieces that float off of our setup not to mention the engineers and their hobo backpacks.

And now instead of completing 14 obtainable achievements by the players to get the backpack we actually must successfully run the temporary dungeon in order to see it as a drop? (when according to many of us on the forums we didn’t want new temporary dungeons much less dungeons at all and very much less to have any rewards specifically tied to those dungeons) Whatever happened to finding these items in boxes that drop from the open world events?

Guess they don’t want certain types of players to play their game after all. The poster of that question got his answer.

Edit: I’ll admit I expected the dungeon to be temporary but they did not list any items on their patch notes to be outside of the dungeon, only pieces of keys to be put together and open hidden chests in the dungeon path that is nowhere near what they did the one time they actually had items in boxes in my experience which was during the Dragon celebration.

Well…. if you recall, a lot of the people that asked for new armor did say they would be willing to buy it from the gemshop…

Oh and new path is not temporary. It is permanent.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.
