Yeah I don’t get it. It’s pretty popular with YouTubers to fake their laugh and it’s way over the top.

They do freak me out.

I guess it’s the Crystal Desert equivalent of sentient mushrooms? These guys look like watermelons, melons, gourds and all sorts of weird fruit when they explode. Very odd, creepy and intriguing at the same time. :o

They look like an omage to Steven Universe and/or FF.
