I am currently playing another MMO, which I am currently enjoying immensely. Even so I have encountered something there where GW2 has probably spoiled me for life. I wanted to give Anet credit for something that I honestly hope other companies will come to copy and which will hopefully become an industry standard.

Quest interacts and crafting nodes access per character. In this other game if someone gets to a quest objective first you will have to wait for it to respawn. The same applies to crafting nodes and the like.

Kudos Anet for breaking with tradition in a way that really does improve the gaming experience.

Agreed! Love the fact that ANet made materials nodes instanced. That one particular ability went a long way to establishing a good community feel up front.

I am also enjoying another game for PvE, and the return to competing for nodes there just feels like a throwback to the previous decade.

Yes, GW2 spoiled me that way. And it’s much appreciated.

BG: 52 alts, 29 lvl 80’s. They all look good, so I am done with the game: Oct 2014
