SOOOOOO

for all we know Necromancer’s warhorn skill is basically about blowing a swarm of locusts out into the air using that horn.

Now, the amount of locusts generated by Warhorn #5 is huge. There is not enough space for so many locusts to live in the warhorn, so it would need to be

SOMEWHERE ELSE

from inside the mouth of the necromancer. Or some place deeper.
As deep as one’s imagination can go.

There, our necromancers have locusts that live inside their bodies.
Yuck.

On a 2nd thought, this is freaking genius.
Om nom nom.

I always felt a little tickle inside my throat when I played my necro.

Karma is as abundant as air, and as useless as the Kardashians.

My Necromancer summons a void inside the warhorn, creating a gate into the Locust realm. Then he uses sound magic to mess with their senses and make the enemy look like corn to lure them out and into our world to feast. Unfortunately they can’t survive in our atmosphere very long and eventually disintegrate.

I always thought that necromancers kept a nice healthy supply of locust nests in their esophagus

And that’s where the locusts from the war horn 5 skill comes from

Gwaiyn – 80 Thief
Ryfaul – 80 Warrior
Fluene – 80 Mesmer

Isn’t this obvious…? Necromancers can summon dead things, they obviously summons the locust.

Inb4 “When a necro summons a minion it comes up from the ground?! WHERE DOES IT COME FROM!?”

Simply, the necro spawns them

“The locusts have always been here. Sleeping, deep beneath the earth, beneth the sea. Witing for the time to rise”. That time comes when the necromancer blows his horn.

On a side note. I wonder where the birds for the ranger’s Hunter’s Call comes from as well. At least in places outside the open world such as at jade maw.

Well, it has been stated all classes use some degree of magic (even warrior) so………..magic.

Interesting theory.
Yet, if they slept underground, they would rise from the ground below me when I blow my horn. Instead, the locusts fly DIRECTLY out of my warhorn.

For Ranger’s Hunter’s Call summoning flocks of birds, if you look close enough those birds came from the sky. Makes much sense the Ranger simply had a bond with them and summoned the creatures at the right time.

Actually, blowing the warhorn hypnotizes everyone into BELIEVING that the locusts spawn somewhere in the warhorn or the necromancer’s body. They’re actually an illusionary spell. When the illusion wears off, they disappear. The more people we hynotize, the bigger the swarm. The same mechanic is used in making people belive that when you drink certain potions you turn into animals or monsters. I think they call those potions Mystery Tonics….lol

So necromancers are emo mesmers?

Alas, no… this is the only skill that mimics a mesmer…

besides, with all the minions floating around and totally borking the culling issue in PvE, could you imagine how bad it would be with more than one mesmer, all the minions, and 3 clones apiece?

…ew….just…ew

See? It is that many <3

These are no illusions. The undead minions raised by necromancy are real. The curses laid by necromancy are real.

The locusts are one of those real things
And where they come from is also very

I found this hysterical for some reason. Still giggling
