Something must be done about trolls in DR
I suggest you prepare yourself for two things.
1) Anet probably won’t do anything about it.
2) People here on the forum will vehemently defend the actions of the players in the video.
You live in a world where trolling/griefing is glorified and encouraged. Rewarded with popularity and on occasion financial gain.

What’s vehemently mean? He was trying to behave and even told others to.

this is not believable. gw2 is a cooperative pve game w/ the best community of any mmo. it has kept all of the things that make for negative and toxic community out of pve, so these toxic players don’t even play gw2.
u prob just didn’t understand how the were trying to enjoy the game
If anyone is seriously thinking of trying to RP and it’s for the first time, I highly recommend joining guildwars2roleplayers.com where it’s a lot easier to find people to RP with to accommodate an RP style fitting to how you want to RP. Publicly declaring you’re going to try this will obviously attract trolls.
I only got the first couple of seconds of the video before I switched off (At that opening greet I could already see it was a fruitless errand), and if the host was serious about wanting to try RP for the first time, he went the wrong way about it.
I’ll also point out that one doesn’t just simply ‘turn up’ and become an instant hit in the RP community. Everyone you see who RPs on a daily basis had a slow journey to where their characters are now.
RP is not some massive clique that some impatient people make it out to be. It’s just that it takes time to get adjusted to who new players are, and it also takes time for the new players to get adjusted to exactly what RPing in Tyria actually means as well. Not to mention that some RPers can get a little weary of newcomers as well, given that there are people who go out of their way to spoil fun for others by trolling RP for their own sad little kicks.
A wise friend of mine once said “Great RP doesn’t just happen. You make it happen.”
