So the patch normal goes live at 5pm gmt, i log in to game at 4pm gmt and its says new build aviable now im forever going to be suck with a 9 at the end of my dailys till hawolween even the forum post for the patch says like 30 mins from now like it was supposed to go out at 5pm gmt. I just wish anet would give us a proper time for patchs so oversea people can get on and know when the patch will drop. Lets hope they add a festival between now and hawolween so i can get that last daily point.

Actually, patches go live at the time it went live now quite often.

I think you’re confused OP. The majority of patches are around this time, give or take and hour or so. They have been later if bugs are found and need to be fixed first but otherwise, no.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

I’d rather they release patches when they are ready like they’ve been doing than try to rush to meet a deadline if things are going slower than expected or lose valuable bug fixing time if the patch breaks something they didn’t catch in internal QA because they had to sit on the patch because things went quicker than expected.

Scheduled updates have typically been released between 9 am and noon pacific time. A fraction get released later, between noon and 5 pm PT. (And a tiny number of exceptions went live later than that.)

that shaman posted a chart in Reddit last month that showed the stats, based on the time the patch notes went live.

Orange represents ‘Tuesday’, the day of nearly all scheduled updates; the other colors represent mostly bug patches. You can see that the biggest orange bar is 9 am PT.

In contrast, the biggest bar is for 16:00 (4 pm PT), indicating that bugs patches usually go out slightly before the end of ANet’s work day.

the infinite achievement. if you’re at 9 of 10, it stays at 90% completed in your nearly completed section of achievement panel. at least that was a bug a while ago… not sure if it’s still around. but that’s what I understood from what op said. either that or he’s annoyed he was so close to 1 more reward.

Actually, I read it as the AP from their dailies will have a 9 at the end. So they have something like 5,009/10,000.

mine is 7,861 dailies haven’t always been multiples of 10
if that’s the concern, V-day events will probably start soon, or spring day celebration, or karka attacking again. there will be more opportunities for extra daily AP soon
