I know the drop rate of the crate is very low, I haven’t received one and have had 420% MF for a few hours. Anyways this isn’t my issue, my issue is someone was saying even if you get the crate the chances for a weapon skin is ridiculously low. Someone told me they bought 50 crates, not one weapon skin.

20 crates and 2 weapon skins, 1 mini Kasmeer, 1 portable mystic toilet, couple different skins. Worth it to convert nearly 90g to gems for these boxes.

Wow, shocking, they’ve been handing these things out like free samples at a supermarket all this time, why would they change now?

I took a low-level toon to Southsun and wandered around for an hour or two and got a crate by killing vet karkas as part of a zerg. No skin, but I don’t care, I got some stuff worth about 25 silver as loot.

I wish a dev could answer if vets have a better drop rate for crates than regular mobs.

Does Magic Find actually affect the crate drop rate?

Someone opened 20 boxes in overflow as well. Got nothing interesting

Opened 60 box, got 2 tickets, about 500 karka shells and a bunch of other stuffs

I also got a crate from killing karkas below the egg event opened it got a mini barbie sold it for 28 golds. So i recommend killing karkas below egg event for crates.

I wear my commander tag while out to gather nodes. My e-peepee is obviously superior.

Droprate very low? I’d say that perhaps you were unlucky or I was just lucky.

376% mf, in Southsun long enough to complete all the achievements and then some, and not 1 crate. A total of 3 rares and that was the extent of my luck tonight.

over 500mf 2 boxes friend had 400ish mf and got 8 in the 4hrs farming. I caved and bought 30 boxes (110g) and no ticket. Got 13g worth of crap back tho.

Pretty much what those boxes are imo. a complete waste of time and money.

Wait how can you only have 193 mf when the buff alone gives you +200?

7 hours 400%+ MF 0 crates still, and doing events/vet farming.

Wouldn’t say I farmed, but spent a significant about of time doing the achievements on Southsun. 40 magic find plus the buff you get from the NPCs there, however much that is. Not even MF food. One chest.

Got some crafting mats out of it.

+200MF buff? Where? I missed that one. My base MF is 113 then when I can find one the “Communal Boost Bonfire” adds +50%, then an “Omnomberry Bar” adds +30% and a +10% “MF Banner” = 203%MF. If your talking about the buff that the “Settler Negotiator” gives you it only says “Significant increase in MF” with no mention of what percent boost being given.

EDIT: miscalculated, my base MF is +113 not 193.

Yes, I know about this, and see from it that the “Settler Negotiator” does indeed give a +200MF boost so that would give me +403MF but only for the time doing the Settler part of the event.

Its the npc with the stars above there heads. If you agree to be on the consortium side you get a strong gold find buff if your on the settler side you get the MF buff. These buffs also tie into the achievements.

I gotten 2 so far both times from events mainly the defend wave events where you end up fighting level 84 humans if you have a lot of ppl there. It dose not happen all that often but there seems to be a pattern to the events where you can work out a some what nice chain. Though i think the chain has a lot to do when the boss ppl who are trying to start the uprising are killed i am not sure though.

I also had a friend who got 4 with in 1hr and he had less mf then i did lol got to love that!
