Spears and Tridents have some of the coolest weapon skins in the game I’ve noticed. It’s unfortunate however, that you pretty much never see them. In fact most time there is underwater combat, a large part of the fight is trying to get to land to have a “real” fight.

Anyways my real point is that there should be a class that uses Spears or Tridents (or both) as primary weapons because these weapons already have the coolest looking skins and I really want a reason to get the Mistforged spear/trident skin cause they’re just so freakin sweet. And a new class would be fun or something. But I just want to use spears and tridents for more than 2 minutes at a time

I’ll see your Mistforged Hero’s (trident) and raise you a Chaos Trident. IMO the best looking aquatic weapon in the game, but too ‘bling’ for others.

I’d like to see water weapons used on land. They have great designs and yet very limited use. Spears and Tridents I could see, but I have a little problem picturing use for a harpoon gun out of the water lol.

They’re obviously saving spears for the return of Paragons.

What they should do is add Staff to a couple more classes, Warrior, for example, that use it as a melee weapon, then allow players to apply Trident and Spear skins to their Staves if they like. That solves the problem without having to add a ton of new moves to the game.

I agree that spears and tridents need to become land weapons since Anet has already said they aren’t going back to underwater combat in the future anytime soon.
