Guild Wars 2

So i tried to transfer from isle of Janthir to Blackgate yesterday, i literally monitored for 20 hours. however, Blackgate was on ‘full’ the whole time, never was on high or very high.

i have some friends who are in a guild in blackgate, and i cant play all the guild stuff and Wvw with them. and the guest system, no thats not helping me at all. i need to be on that server not as a guest..!

when will blackgate EVER be able to join? i dont want to waste any more of my time ‘trying’ to get to play with my friends.

Eventually, but it’s a very popular server so any openings are not likely to last long.

In the past they increased server capacity when there were several servers at full. ANet is likely to do it again when/if this happens. There’s no way of predicting when this will happen though.

I think this problem is worse and worse everyday, specially now with megaservers, so the only relevant to transfer is WvW, plus the feature pack is making guilds global, even worse. I think ArenaNet should make something, like a queued transfer, if not will be impossible to transfer to top WvW servers.
