Sanctum Sprint is still on the activity rotation so you can still do it right now.

Sanctum Sprint is an activity and they rotate daily. This Friday it will be available again so you can progress that achievement and finish it.

As for checking and hiding achievements, my personal list now has the last tier of some WvW achievements and since they require an insane amount of repetition the list will stay the same for months. It was the same with the wintersday drinks achievement that I almost finished last year and remained to haunt me for a whole year. Choosing achievements to hide would be a nice addition.
