I read on Dulfy this achievement ( 10000 drinks achievement) could be completed after Wintersday was over but I see no where in the game that is true as its disappeared from achievements. Can this be finished after Wintersday?? Or do I need to wait till next year??

The Festive Imbiber (drinks) achievement is not showing, but they said they are gonna keep it up for the completion of the Winter’s Presence.

The Connoisseur of Confection (candy cane) achievement is still showing.

So, is the achievement still enabled as they said or will I waste my drinks when I use them?

They said they will keep up the “collection” for the shoulders ie *drink 10k drinks to get that part – they did not say they would keep up the Wintersday achievements though, they were always stated that they finished when wintersday finished. That was how I understood it anyway.

What’s the point of keeping up the collection when you can’t finish it until next year?

Where is this showing exactly?? All my wintersday Acheivs are now in the Historical Section. If you were watching it, that doesnt mean its still active, it just means you have to remove it from your watch list now.

Festive Imbiber is now under the “Community” section of the achievement panel.
Achievements > General > Community

The Connoisseur of Confection achievement has been moved to the historical section, along with the rest of the Wintersday achievements. It is not active. The historical section will display the achievements that you have either completed or made some progress in. It will not display any achievements that you never started. At least, that’s my understanding of how it works.

Why was the food one not put there as well? Using that food for its proper purpose of buffing over the year sounds great.

The thing is, Connoisseur of Confection, like Festive Imbiber, had its “during Wintersday” note removed from the tooltip – I took this as indicative that it would be remaining. Was the removal intentional, or an oversight? (If the former, my bad, but I felt it worth asking due to the text change.)

As I know now, it’s not active.

I thought it was active because it was still shown and I didn’t see the other achievement because it was moved to another section.

so is it possible or me to progress with this achievement now that wintersday over? or do i have to wait next year to get my characters drunk for progression?

Both the drink achievement and the shoulder collection are now in Community Achievements and Rare Collections respectively and you complete either of them.

Well assuming you only need Festive Imbiber for the shoulder and you had the rest down before Wintersday was over as several other pieces of the collection were tied to now absent Wintersday activities.

Please note the Candy Cane achievement hasn’t been moved so using any of the peppermint food/item boosts will not add to the total until next Wintersday.
