The Mursaat!

I mean, look at how kitten he looks from the trailer! Just rains gold on that temple. Does this mean we’ll get Isles of Janthir/ Janthir Bay with HoT? I sure as hell hope so.

In order for it to be “FAN” Fic, it needs to have been made BY the fans.

Also, you only seemed to count 92%, where’s the remaining 8?

I’m so confused….

It’s definitely a Mursaat (not Seer) with what looks like the shape of the White Mantle for its helmet or shoulder pads turning a tower to gold. Yet it has tendrils and a green flow of energy through it’s body.

I was kind of surprised that The Shadow was inside the sealed Forgotten chamber. Does this mean Mordremoth’s influence can basically go anywhere? Finding and corrupting the last living Mursaat hidden away in their capital city would make a lot more sense then.

But why then, would a now minion of Mordremoth be bothered with trivial things such as turning a building to gold?

Color me puzzled.

I don’t see the Mursaat being minions of Mordre and their new appeareance is a result after all those years gone from the human eye.

The remaining 8% is also Mursaat, but was unseen in the trailer.

The Mursaat kind of had tendrils coming out of their backs, or wings, or whatever. It might just be a re-design on how their tendril/wings looks like.

The green highlighted area makes me think its just another sylvari, since later on in the trailer their (well at least Canach’s) bioluminescence is highlighted the same way.

Also, it could just be Lazarus the Dire, the only known surviving Mursaat. (unless there is still a city of them)

Nah m8, Sylvari dont have that type of gear on nor do they float. The figure in the trailer is just an upgraded Mursaat. Also im pretty sure that Mursaat have their capital in the Janthir Isles, guessing Lazarus wasn’t the last one.

We seek out the aid of the Mursaat, since they fought, and survived through the last elder dragon cycle.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend I guess.

I’m betting there are going to be more than just one Mursaat.

The sylvari of the Pale Tree might not, but let’s not make too many assumptions about those belonging to the, errm, Shadow Tree, or whatever it’s going to be called.

I really hope they don’t turn the mursaat into more dragon fodder.

Mursaat also known as Eyes that watch all….or “E” for short.

Lazarus the Dire was the last known Mursaat and we almost completely destroyed him. It’s possible that it is him and as a result of what we did his body has undergone some… changes. Maybe?

That’s not a Mursaat. That pic is a quaggan’s final form.

I thought this was going to be a defiant Sylvari fangirl thread but I have never been more pleasantly surprised in my life. I’d rather be talking about Mursaat any day.

I honestly don’t know how people see that image and think it’s a Mursaat. The only thing that it and Mursaat have in common is that they’re floating. I’m not sure what it is, and it might be a Mursaat, but the amount of people asserting the claim like it’s a fact is a little worrisome.
