This is the first time I’ve been around for a Halloween event in an MMO.. GW2 included, even though I’ve been playing on and off since release, but now since I feel like I’m back in the game for the long haul, I’m SUPER excited for the Halloween event, and upcoming holiday events. What can I expect from Guild Wars 2?
That’s a summary of the event last year, this year is likely to be similar. It’s basically a series of mini games and special events, along with unique items to obtain.
But it’s a lot of fun and there is some cool lore around Mad King Thorn, although piecing it together is tricky.

There’s also generally impromptu games and parties, and last year the devs came in for a while in LA to turn players into things we can’t normally be (like skinny black cats in witch hats!). They announced the time frame for that on these forums, so keep an eye out.
