For some reason nearly all Anet players I see are Rangers.
I’ve been tooling around on my Ele & Necro today.
So one of the weakest classes and one of the strongest. Although I main Ele, so I know it’s fun to play, just a bit lacklustre most of the time. :/

On my server, I see a lot of people playing Rangers. Not everyone plays a warrior.

Man, Burnfall. Do you just search the forums with the keyword “thief” and respond to every post mentioning it? I think you must have some sort of affection towards us.

I haven’t tried it in PvE or WvW since I trolled my ranger up in ugly heavy armor (dredge medium) and knight gear. But in Spvp my Ranger is pretty powerful .-. I use every immobilize, cc and get away skill possible and just run around in full zerker nuking people for 15k rapid fire and aoes and abusing stealth. :o

Yea, I would go back to playing my necro too if I had the ability to use a dev menu for getting around.
No Dev Menu on the live servers. We get around the same way as everyone else.
From now on, everytime someone will appear to be “too normal” in LA map chat, I’ll instantly assume he’s a dev. >.>

Just because your build was nerfed doesnt mean all builds were nerfed.
Who says my build was nerfed? I think the basic pet AI has been uniformly rubbish since launch .
And is it good design to have ‘pretty strong’ be hidden under a rock somewhere? Especially when the class description in character creation sends you in the complete opposite direction…

I hate to be mean but you literally have no idea what youre talking about. Forget the pet, its borderline useless, think of it as a chance to get an special ability and some extra damage occasionally.
Rangers Traits are ridiculous and weapons are laughable. The devs have stated that they know the Ranger needs a buff they just havent done it. My build? Ive changed my builds about 35-50 times since launch and I dont mind that, but we’re the only class thats actually WORSE than we were at launch.

Just to let you know, the arenanet tag comes from the guild.. It is technically possible to get the tag without working at arenanet,
You can’t join the guild without working for them, though.
