NEVERMIND. I CAN’T READ.
Please remove this.
I don’t feel compelled to be forced into low level zones in order to get a monthly done, every other aspect of the monthly allows me to do the content i wish to do, but this one forces me to tread around low level zones searching for those stupid bloody machines. By all means, promote new content, but forcing me to walk around zones looking for these bloody things, when there’s only about 4 up ikittenone at any given time.. No, this is dumb.

then don’t do this part of the monthly?
You only have to pick 4 of the listed options to achieve your monthly. Don’t do this one if you don’t want to!
Oh only 4? Thank god for that! Completely missed that. Thought i had to do every single one, cheers guys!
Sadly it is a must if one do not want to deal with the dungeon demographic…
OP is the second coming of einstein
is it still just extra Anet points for doing any past the required 4?
Yes. Just extra achievement points.
k. thanks.

Who are these 15 Charrs that people keep referring to? And how do I find them? Do they have names?
k. thanks.

In certain branches of Jewish folklore, there are stories about the Tzaddikim Nistari (hidden righteous ones), or Lamed-Vav Tzaddikim (thirty six righteous ones), allegedly 36 people of such exceptional righteousness that their presence is vital to the continued existence of the world. They are hidden, in the sense that they do not draw attention to their virtue and even they may be unaware of their status, but it is because of their excellence that God preserves the world even in spite of how awful all the rest of it may be.
I choose to believe that the 15 Charr occupy a similar mystic significance to the Legions. I also believe, because I’ve seen enough of how military structures actually tend to work, that they’re mostly NCOs.

Kinda sounds like the TV Show “Touch”. So you’re saying these “15 Charr” are the ones who bring balance to the forums?

Sounds more like a so-bad-its-good parody of the three wise men!
k. thanks.

I think that it’s the most entertaining available interpretation, and therefore the one I choose to believe. Also sometimes they transform into huge baroque robot-angels with sonic prayer-cannons and beat the crap out of radioactive space lizards. This isn’t found anywhere in Jewish tradition, but maybe it should be.
k. thanks.

If it did I’d convert in an instant.

On other words, a religious based Voltron world? But remember, each robot is a vessel being controlled by a person. So one could interpret this as man-kind guiding a “higher power” in the eternal battle with an evil space devil? Then the question begs: Which person is deserving enough to be the torso of the battle angel formation?
Or are you alluding to the fact that when these 15 mentioned Charr get together, and their powers combine, they form Captain Charr – Savior of the Forums?
Haha, I was discussing this with a friend, and here’s how the conversation went:
Him: You should take this stuff to like a Rabbi, see if they’re accepting submissions.
Me: What, like, open mic night at the synagogue?
Him: Yeah bro, you’ve got hot material.
Me: I’m already guilty of enough blasphemy in my own religion, I don’t need to branch out..
Him: But the Google directed me in the 2nd link to one Temple Beth Orr. It’s a sign! You know what you must do.
Me: … I’m not flying to Florida to harass some Jewish people about my cartoonish Apocrypha.
Err, anyway, probably time to abandon this tangent. My other Gaming Passion is White Wolf’s “Exalted” tabletop RPG, where discussions of KungkittenAnime interpretations of real-world religions are a lot more par for the course.
